Summer Part One- Mykonos

Hola Guys! Hope you are all having a fabulous week?! I thought I would write my next blog entry on one of my summer holidays that i went on a few weeks ago! Okay so on the 12th of July me and my mum boarded a fairly empty Easy Jet plane to... MYKONOS! For those of you who dont know this is a tiny Greek island located in the Agean sea which is just full of lovely glamorous things!!  Also to add the Kardashains went on holiday here last year!! Must not be too bad then!!

This was the second time that i had visited and it had changed soooo much!! It seems to be that in the last 4 years it has boomed with tourism, which i suppose in some respect is great for the island but on the other hand it spoils it slightly! However it is still amazingly fabulous!! And you must all visit it at some point in your life!!

We stayed for 11 nights on this lush island in a beautiful hotel that reminded me of the Mamma Mia film as it was filled with blue doors and white washed walls!! Every morning we sat on the beautiful terrace and helped ourselves to the delicious buffet style breakfast whilst overlooking the beautiful ornos beach!

In the picture to the left you can see the pool and the dining area where we ate breakfast!! Isn't it beautiful??!!

My favourite part of the holiday was definitely the various times that we visted Myknos Town (Fabrika) the shops were to die for, also the little streets in which the shops were situated were so beautiful it was like something out of a film!! Every little shop was so unique and ranged from Louis Vuitton to the little touristy shops selling beautiful handmade stuff!! Of course me being me bought as much as I could!!

 

I truly loved this holiday and did not want to come home!! and definitely came back to reality with a bump when my i got off the plane in Manchester Airport! I really hope to return here in the future! However i've now got to focus on my next holiday to Zante in 5 days!! Crazy!

Hello Blogging world

Hola! I have finally got round to making a blog! I have been meaning to make one for ages as I have been inspired by bloggers such as the amazing www.emtalks.co.uk and thought i would give it a whirl and give it my own twist seeing as I have lots of time on my hands at the moment!
I guess i should introduce myself! Well..My name is Sophie Lane and I am a student at Leeds University where I am studying Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies and I am shortly going into my Second year! I absolutely love Leeds , i fell in love with it the second i stepped into the city... it is amazing! Full to the brim with shops, restaurants and cocktail bars... what else could a girl ask for! I would seriousy recommend that if any of you haven't visited Leeds before then you must go!!!
Anyway that is enough from me for now, dont want to overload you with too much information!
